Type Locality and Naming
By the village of Kipchak, Pre-Aral. A.A. Abdusamatov, A.G. Kutepev, 1995f. Stratotype in the eastern foothills of the Sultanuizdag Range (Karachadalyssay).
Synonym: Kipchak Suite, Кипчакская св.
Lithology and Thickness
In the stratotype, the suite is represented by:
1. Loose oyster beds consisting of numerous thin-walled oyster shells of medium size. The filler is loose clayey sand of yellow-gray color, quartz-feldspar-mica composition. At the base of the oyster bed, phosphoritized pebbles (I phosphorite horizon) of dark brown, black color, rounded. Thickness up to 2 m.
2. Phosphorites (II phosphorite horizon), Thickness 0.4 m.
3. Clayey yellowish-green sands, fine-grained, quartz-feldspar-mica. Thickness up to 1.5 m.
Maximum thickness of the suite 10 m.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Lies conformably on the dat+monta limestones (Karachadalyssay) or with erosion on various horizons of the Upper Cretaceous. Schematic stratigraphic column indicates the lower contact as Beshtobin Fm
Upper contact
It is overlain conformably by the Sugralin Fm.
Regional extent
Pre-Aral, foothills of the Sultanuizdag Range. Correlated with the Kazakhtau Fm of the Kyzylkum (Abdusamatov et al., 1995f.).

Fossils
In the stratotype, the suite contains marine bivalve mollusks - Pycnodonta camelus extensa (Vial.), Ostrea bellovacina chivensis Burač., P. antiqua (Schwetz.), P. antiqua sartaganica Vial.
